Root System Vase

Root System Vase imagines a plant's hidden world becoming the visible one. A network of root-like forms wraps around the vessel, growing over its surface and eventually becoming the structure that holds it upright.

The vase and its support system become one continuous form, as if the roots have grown around the vessel and taken over its structure.

For flowers above the surface and a whole ecosystem underneath.

Root System Vase is 3D printed in small batches using plant-based PLA.

Root System Vase is designed, 3D printed, and packed by us in small batches. We produce in small quantities to make thoughtful use of our materials and avoid unnecessary waste.

As with any 3D printed piece, very slight variations may occur between individual pieces.
